Humans are so tiny!

January 30, 2012 at 3:27 am (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , , , )

I just finished moving yesterday or something. Moving house is a total pain in the backside, but the new place will be awesome once I get my stuff unpacked and sorted! Also, living with a room-mate is new for me, but it will probably be good fun.

Now, then. Random stuff Me’rena has been up to.

Whisperwind really deserved an update of her model. She’s looking awesome now!

Pondering purple haze!

And a random boat that was positively HUGE.

But, as Me’rena is still levelling, I sent her back to where she was running around. But there were only dead lizards around.

And on the way to completing a quest, I found this place. While the human man in the background seemed unable to put things together, Me’rena found this and thought, “Well, here’s your problem.”

And humans, then. They’re short, compared to nelfs. Rena was tired, but wasn’t sure of how she would fit in the bed.

Even the broom is taller. That’s just wrong.

And the children look like toys.

But, found a bunk-bed, fell asleep, dreamt of spiders.

I also need to come up with something to talk about for a couple of minutes in class tomorrow. Bah. My head lacks suggestions.

Rrraaaaawwrrrrr

Okay, anyway. I am terribly, horribly sorry, but I left the guild that Me’rena was in. They were all very nice and it was great, really, but most haven’t even been logged in for over three months. So I hopped into a social one, all nice and stuff. When I get high enough level that I won’t feel the need to run around and do quests, I’ll have a look at the other more rp-centered ones that I got /w about. Thank you, nice people!

And now, I have to run to catch the train. Moving this week, so internet connectivity may be wonky.

Long time, No write!

January 16, 2012 at 3:16 am (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , , , , , , )

So … what’s been happening lately? At the end of September, I went to Tokyo, and I’m currently living in Kokubunji. But I’m moving in with a friend sometime this week by the look of things, and then I’ll be living much closer to central Tokyo, and thus also the school. Yays.

But, you know, I’m tired a lot lately. I think I need more vegetables and crap. Mm, fruit and stuff, tasty things that are kind of expensive here compared to home. Ah well.

As for the gaming bit, I had a break since summer, or there about, but I’ve picked it up again recently. I should probably go play with Me’rena again, she deserves some attention! But I ended up rolling a Worgen druid on Earthen Ring, and because ER is pretty dead during the hours when I play (seeing how I’m living in GMT +9 now) I jumped onto a random realm that had medium population and wasn’t specifically PvP. Once there, I rolled a belf hunter, since I find that the hunter class makes sense for female belfs. No, really, doesn’t it? Male belfs should do well as mages, warlocks or warriors, I think, lore-wise. No? Pictures follow.

So anyway. Worgen quests were annoying at first, but did have a dash of random humour, the way quests do every now and then.

Like this here. Mm, yes, I think anyone who loves their cat (or dog or whatever) would be angry if some random Forsaken guy with a wonky name tried to steal your kitty! I sympathise completely.

This is random, but it looks like they are having fun, and the horse’s jaw is about to fall off! … Or something equally derpy.

I am also very, very fond of the sniffing noises that the Worgen make. And the poses remind me of myself when I catch something smelling funny and try to figure out where it’s coming from. True story.

Mm, and got to see Sylvanas and she is still stunning. I tried to fangirl her, but it didn’t work out so well, since it got me killed, you know when she’s on the horse and then shoots Liam with the poisoned arrow. Yeah, I was offed in a messy way. But I can’t help it!

Then I got sent off to Darkshore, after oogling Tyrande for a bit. She really did deserve a new model, and this one looks great. The trolls still fascinate me with their supposedly Jamaican English, and they make weird noises and have three fingers. Yeah. But anyway. Seeing how Worgen quests suddenly turned into the nelf ones that I absolutely abhor when it comes to Darkshore, I lost interest for a bit. I cannot wait to get to Ashenvale, but yeah, looks like I won’t be just now.

So, I ran away and rolled a belf. They have to be the most annoying race when it comes to voices. And some animations are just strange enough to make me laugh in disbelief. Still, I like them. More than I like the trolls, anyway, and that might get me a beating. The female belf has one of the most bitchy laughs in the game. … Which amuses me to no end, so of course I stand around and shoot off /laugh whenever the opportunity arrives.

They also look really mocking when you /salute someone, yet the emote says that you salute them with respect. Someone has not learned to tell mockery from the real thing, it seems!

Totally meaningless quests, this chain. Or maybe it will be revealed to have some sort of meaning later? I don’t know. Feels like the wonky quests in Teldrassil where you’re scolded for taking a quest from some shady fellow, and have to find felcones and transform him into something humiliating. Ah well.

And last, but not least, we have the rude partygoers. The whole place is weird, and everyone acts like you’re something nasty that got dragged in. These two were dancing. And they look the same. And they keep dancing. But if you talk to them, they will be rude. Bah.

And now, I am off to another day of nearly falling asleep first on the train and then in class, and then on the train again, only to be perfectly alert once I get home. Funny, that.

Me’rena does not approve!

May 25, 2011 at 10:15 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , )

So, they set us up the bomb, again. Big bomb goes boom, tiny nelf druids go poof, trees burn, humans are smelly, and in the end, Me’rena has just about had it up to HERE. Poor girl, so I let her get some well deserved rest.

In other news, I rage-quit a guild yesterday, because they thought “hiatus” was a, a disease, or b, a server on WoW. >__> When I kindly explained it’s a normal English word, I was met with hostility, even when I explained what it meant and how you use it. I was told to use words people could understand, such as “break”. I was told that it was NOT a normal expression. And this by someone who claimed to be a Brit. D:

After that, I went around slapping goblins and talking to myself, when this really nice GM came along and invited me to his newly started guild. I told him my preferences, and that I was in the process of speaking to another guild about joining them, but he said he’d like it if I would tag along until I got a green light from the other guild. So, I did.

And it was a really nice group of people. If you’re rolling Alliance on EU Earthen Ring and want a mature (18+), casual/social guild to just have some fun with while leveling, /w Merena in game and I’ll point you to someone who can help you with joining. Why? Because nice people are great, especially when you’re fed up with children acting all high and mighty because they’re home from school or whatever, and don’t get what it’s like to have a job. By no means does this mean I dislike younger players, I just dislike those who act below their age. But that goes for adults as well. Bah!

Either way, in the end, I was accepted into the guild I was wanting to join, and all is well that ends well, they say. Me’rena is happy with the people there, so far, so tomorrow – as I have the day off and currently have a slight fever – I have some errands to do but once I’m done with those, I’ll send Me’rena off to Darnassus so she can sit among some trees for a bit. …and avoid smelly humans.

Right! Also got some addons, MyRP and TRP2. Nylyda got complimented on the bandit’s mask. Me’rena got some new achievements, and me, I found that the stats keep a record of how many hugs you’ve had in game. >__> …right.

But now, I’m off!

Nylyda and Merena lately

May 19, 2011 at 10:33 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , , )

So, anyway. Nylyda (who is a Draenei priestess) was attacked by a Blood Elf bandit of some sort. She let him know, it is NOT okay to jump on lonely girls in the forest, so she smacked him around some and stole his mask. She later tells her friends of this, adding that “I vhaz ZO upzet, I vhaz ztuck like zis for DAYZ.”

I am also looking around for a nice guild for Merena. Am talking to some officers now, to see if I might find one that works. Meanwhile, she has a tendency to drop by Astranaar for whatever reason, only to sneak into the inn and hit on Sentinel Commander Wolfrunner. The Sentinel Commander doesn’t seem the least bit impressed, but Merena isn’t giving up just yet.

Seems like she just falls for the strong warrior-women, so far. Oh and that one Draenei girl who sat around the auction house some days ago in Darnassus. Ah, well.

So, yeah. Fun, fun, in the life of roleplaying with the toons.

WoW, WoW, WoW

May 12, 2011 at 9:14 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , )

So, yeah. I’ve been running around with my nelf druid, leveling and doing silly stuff… Because my brain is broken whenever I put a game on. So, hitting on hot Sentinels, randomly hugging questgivers (hey, one said she WOULD hug me, if she didn’t smell like fish. So, I hugged her. Problem solved.), riding a dragon while using the /laugh too freely, dancing on a mountain with Malfurion Stormrage… Heh, yeah. But, on the plus side of things, I can have a mount now! Next, I want to find a nice guild… Preferably a roleplay one. I get recruited to various guilds on random, but they’re all boosting/raiding guilds, and while that might be fun, it’s a lot more fun if you’re higher in level.

So!

That, and work, and feeding the cat is what I’ve been up to lately, when I’m not knocked out in bed. Heh.

As for writing-plans… I’m working on it. Yes. Backstories are in the making. Wheee!

An old beginning

May 1, 2011 at 10:04 pm (Uncategorized) ()

I could say so much, yet I will say only a little. In here I will post whatever I feel like, most likely having to do with daily things, work, gaming, and my upcoming move to Japan.

Welcome inside.
